This unique coffee was grown, produced and named by a group of 20 women in the Zongolica region of Veracruz, Mexico. Each of the 20 producers pulped the coffee with a hand-crank de-pulper as well as washing and drying the coffee on their patios for 15 days minimum on their own farms. The practices used to preserve the region’s biodiversity and the farmers’ attention to detail has resulted in a superb single origin coffee that will take you on a deep, dark and intense taste journey.
With a medium to full roast, you will get a smooth cup, balanced by medium acidity - next you get syrupy dark fruits, a hint of licorice and a wisp of smoke coupled with brazil and pecan nuts!
Balance the smoky, dark fruit flavours of this coffee with the sweetness from a Cinder Toffee Biscuit from The Northumbrian bakehouse. You can find the full range here- The Northumbrian Bakehouse.
