About Mocha Mondo Gold
From the foothills of the Andes, these high altitude Colombian Excelso beans are sourced from some of the country's best co-operative farms. The coffee is grown in the rainforest before being picked and delivered to the washing station where the coffee cherries are de-pulped, washed and dried.
The roast is on the darker side of a medium roast which gives a rich and nutty taste with a hint of fruit. This full-bodied coffee has a smooth profile with rich acidity and a citrusy aroma. Mocha Mondo Gold makes a smooth, rich coffee that's well balanced and full bodied. A great choice to drink at any time of the day. Our Mocha Mondo Gold Coffee is one of our longest-standing coffees and a firm favourite of our customers.
We roast this coffee to-order in small batches from our Northumberland based roastery to ensure optimum freshness and flavour by the time it makes it into your mug.

I discovered Mocha Mondo while on a day out in Amble quite a few years ago. I said then that it was the best latte I'd ever had. After recently purchasing a Ninja coffee machine, I have struggled to find coffee beans that I enjoy. Turns out that the quality of beans makes a huge difference.. I thought I'd wasted A LOT money and reverted back to a cheaper pod machine. However, I was gifted a bag of Mocha Mondo Gold beans for Xmas and I can now make fabulous coffee at home. Delicious!
Often not sure on coffee, smells wonderful but the taste doesn't quite deliver. Sample of thos at a holiday cottage in Beadnell and it was yummy😃😃
