To make our milk chocolate we use Madagascan Grand cru de Sambirano cocoa beans.
These have a fine flavour, and fruity notes. Madagascar grows only 0.1% of the world’s cocoa production. The unique flavour comes from the special environment of soil, flora and climate. It is grown in the rainforests of the Sambirano river valley, and is derived from Criollo-Trinitario, Trinitario and Forastero cacao. After harvesting it is fermented and dried.
